Frequently Asked Questions
Are you looking to hire a professional photographer? There are many things that you should consider before
choosing one, including the style they offer, their experience, their costings and their creativity. You should
also check out any reviews from previous clients.
Every photography job is different, and the cost will depend on the size of the project you need. That is why
it is always important to be upfront and honest with your photographer, allowing them to create a clear
quotation for you.
I will always provide a comprehensive and itemised quote for my clients, ensuring that you can understand
costs and have complete peace of mind there are no hidden costs.
Post-production is the term used to describe the editing phase after the shoot. This will be done to your
specifications but will typically involve retouching where required, as well as adjusting colours, contrast,
sharpness and density. Post-production also consists of converting the images from raw files into more
usable options such as jpeg or tiff.

Clients are free to use the images for any marketing purposes or in any other way that we agreed during the
initial brief. I do retain copyright on all pictures, though, so they cannot be used by another party or sold on
without written consent first.
My standard editing time is up to three days; however, I can offer an expedited service for a 24-hour
turnaround at an additional cost.

Once a shoot has been confirmed, should it need to be cancelled due to reasons outside of my control
(including poor weather or light), then I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee at the following rates:
More than six days’ notice: no fee.
3-6 working days’ notice: 50% fee plus any expenses.
Under 48 hours’ notice: 70% fee plus any expenses.
In the event of a postponement, I will always work with you first to try and rearrange the shoot first before
any cancellation charges are incurred.
Unfortunately not, I only cover commercial photography in Sydney. However, if you are looking for personal
photography, I will be happy to recommend some of my favourites.
